The magic and wonder of childhood begins the Marine Chamber Orchestra season. Composers convey the "brighter colors" and more "fragrant air" associated with children. This concert will include musical representations of a child's summer day, tales from Mother Goose, a composer's love for his three-year-old daughter, and a toy shop in which the dolls magically come to life. 2pm on Sunday, January 15 at the Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria Campus. Admission is free.
