New Museums at Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon where the estate of US first president, George Washington is located, introduces new state-of-the art museums, the Ford Orientation Center and Donald W. Reynolds Museum and Education Center. Visitors from different states and different countries will have the chance to view for the first time the furnishings, revolutionary artifacts, and other personal items of the Washington family which are introduced by tour guides. People will have ideas of how the former first family lived presented through 25 galleries and theaters. One can find Washington’s library with classroom and computers that will provide access to more than 20,000 letters written by Washington. Come and have a chance to learn more about historical events of Washington family. Free parking lot is available.
