St. Partick’s Day Parade at DC

Saint Patrick is one of the patron saints of Ireland and in honor of his day, it is annually celebrated as their national and feast day. Both Christians and non-Christians celebrate this holiday by wearing green or orange, eating Irish food and/or green foods, drink Irish drinks, and attending parades. The first St. Patrick’s Day parade was held in Boston in 1761, organized by the Charitable Irish Society.
On March 15, come and join the two and a half hour special event sponsored by local Irish pubs .There will be parade along Constitution Avenue 7th to 17th Streets NW which includes floats, marching bands, military, police, and fire departments. Bring your family to know more about the Irish culture.
After the parade, come and stay with us at Comfort Inn Gunston Corner. Just give us a call at 703-643-3100 and visit our website www.cigunston.com.
