Celebrate the Season at Mount Vernon

Christmas lights and decors are one of the most awaited scenes during holiday season. Mount Vernon will have a dozen themed Christmas trees, Mount Vernon gingerbread house by former White House pastry chef Roland Mesnier, costumed chocolate-making demonstrations, 18th century dancing, and a Christmas camel just as Washington had on the grounds during 1787.
The popular tradition continues of opening the rarely-seen third floor of the Mansion and inviting visitors to meet the charming “Mrs. Washington.”
